Custom software and app development in Morocco

BrandHub builds custom web and mobile applications from Casablanca for companies operating in Morocco and for firms abroad looking for a nearshore development partner in Morocco: internal tools, client portals and operations tracking that replace paper, spreadsheets and scattered WhatsApp threads. Each application follows the way your team already works instead of imposing a new one.

At BrandHub, custom does not mean building everything at once. A project starts with a single process that is costing time or money: quotes rebuilt by hand, orders followed in a WhatsApp group, stock counted on paper. BrandHub builds the smallest version that removes that problem, then delivers it in stages, each one usable by the team in its daily work, rather than one final delivery far in the future. The application speaks the language of the people who use it, which for most teams and customers in Morocco means French and Arabic. Custom is not always the right answer: when good off-the-shelf software already does the job, at a reasonable price and without forcing the team to change its habits, BrandHub recommends it rather than building. The free diagnostic exists to make that call before any quote.

When is custom software better than an off-the-shelf product?

Custom software beats an off-the-shelf product in three cases: when your process is specific to your trade, when several tools need to talk to each other, or when standard software imposes a way of working your team will not adopt. A few simple signs show whether your company is in one of these cases.

When an off-the-shelf product already covers the need at a reasonable price, BrandHub recommends it rather than building a new application.

Signs that a custom application is justified:

  • The same information is copied between paper, spreadsheets and WhatsApp.
  • Software you bought is no longer used, because it does not fit the way you work.
  • Several tools do not talk to each other, and someone links them by hand every day.
  • Your customers or field teams need simple access, in their own language.
  • Nobody knows the real status of orders, jobs or stock without phoning someone.

What does a custom application look like for your team?

BrandHub builds an application that brings together what your team scatters across paper, spreadsheets and WhatsApp: each order has its status and its owner, a quote is prepared from a phone using your saved prices, and the customer gets a reminder before an appointment. The illustration shows this principle, at the office and in the field.

  1. Everything in one place

Orders, quotes, stock and the client portal share the same data: information entered once is used everywhere, with no copying between paper, spreadsheets and WhatsApp.

  2. The real status, without phoning anyone

New, in progress or done: the status of each order can be read at a glance, without calling the person handling it.

  3. At the office and in the field

On site, at a customer's premises or at the office, the team views and updates the same information from a phone.

  4. A small first version

One process first, the one that wastes the most time; further screens are added once the team is really using the first one.

What kind of software does BrandHub build?

BrandHub builds two families of applications: internal tools that organise the team's work, and portals for your customers that give them direct access to their requests, orders or appointments. Here are examples of needs handled this way, each starting from a process your team already runs.

  • Quotes and invoices

Quotes prepared from your saved prices, then turned into invoices without re-keying.

  • Order or job tracking

Each order or job has its status, its owner and its history, visible to the whole team.

  • Client portal

Your customers follow their requests, download their documents and message you in one place.

  • Online booking

Slots booked online, with a reminder sent to the customer before the appointment.

  • Stock and purchasing

Goods in, goods out and supplier orders, with stock updated at every movement.

  • Management dashboard

The key figures of the business on one screen, with the CRM and dashboards service.

How does nearshore development with BrandHub work for a company abroad?

BrandHub also works remotely for companies based outside Morocco. BrandHub replies in French and Arabic, and also in English, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Italian, so a product owner abroad can brief, question and approve the work in writing. The project is built around written documents and usable versions, so progress can be checked from anywhere rather than taken on trust.

BrandHub's own management software, in pilot for restaurants, cafés, wholesalers, car rental and travel agencies, is built with the same approach.

  • A short written specification before development: what the first version does, for whom, and what it does not do.
  • Mock-ups approved by you before any screen is developed.
  • Usable versions delivered in stages, which your team can test in its real work.
  • Written replies to your questions within 24 business hours, by WhatsApp or email.

How is custom software priced?

Custom software is priced on quote, after the free diagnostic, and its first version is deliberately small: it handles a single process, so that the team uses it quickly and the next steps are decided on real use. Five factors move the price, from the number of screens to maintenance.

Pricing Priced on quote, after the free diagnostic

What changes the price of an application
FactorEffect on the price
Screens and rolesEach screen is designed and tested; each role (employee, manager, customer) has its own permissions.
IntegrationsConnections to WhatsApp, spreadsheets, a till (POS) or accounting software.
Offline useKeeping data on the device and syncing it later needs a dedicated architecture.
Web or native mobileA web app works on every device; a native app needs separate development for Android and iOS.
MaintenanceFixes, updates and hosting after delivery, depending on the scope chosen.

A custom application is often part of automation of repetitive tasks, and of loss control when it tracks stock or the till.

How does an app development project run?

An app project with BrandHub is delivered in stages, and each delivery is a version the team can already use. Feedback from real use shapes the next stage: unnecessary screens are spotted before they are built, and you see the application progress instead of waiting for a final delivery.

  1. Task diagnostic

The team's tasks, the time they take and the process to handle first.

  2. Short specification

A few pages stating what the first version does, for whom, and what it does not do.

  3. Approved mock-ups

The screens designed, then approved by you before development.

  4. Delivery in stages

Usable versions, tested with the team, each building on the last.

  5. Handover and support

The team learns to use it, then fixes and improvements follow real use.

What happens after the application goes live?

After launch, the application keeps changing with its use: the team reports what slows it down, and fixes and improvements follow. What BrandHub covers after launch, from fixes and updates to hosting, is written into the quote before you sign, so nothing about maintenance is left implicit.

The next processes are planned only once the first one is used every day. When the remaining need is mostly moving data between tools, AI and automation can cover it without a new screen.

Can we work with BrandHub in English from outside Morocco?

Yes. BrandHub replies in French and Arabic, and also in English, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Italian, and BrandHub also works remotely for companies based outside Morocco. Specifications, mock-ups and approvals are handled in writing, and each stage is a version you can test yourself, so a team abroad can follow the project without being in Casablanca.

Web app or mobile app: which should we choose?

A web app works on every device, with no app store involved, and is usually enough for internal tools. A native mobile app is justified when use depends on the camera, offline work or frequent notifications.

Can the application work without an internet connection?

Yes, if it is designed for it: data is kept on the device, then synced when the connection returns. This choice is made at the start of the project, because it changes the application's architecture and therefore its price.

Can the application connect to WhatsApp or spreadsheets?

Yes: imports and exports to Excel, and notifications and messages through the official WhatsApp Business Platform. When the link is mostly about automating tasks between your tools, the AI and automation service may be enough without an application.

Who takes care of maintenance?

The scope of maintenance is written into the quote: fixes, updates, hosting, and who is responsible for each part. Nothing is left implicit: before signing, you know what is included and what is not.

How long does a first version take?

It depends on the scope. The first version is deliberately small, so that the team can use it quickly, and its timeframe is written into the quote with the approval steps. Later versions are planned according to real use.

Can we start with a small version and add to it later?

Yes, and it is the method BrandHub recommends: one process first, then the next ones once the first is used every day by the team. The free diagnostic helps you choose where to start.
